So it's not quite one a year, it just seemed like that. The four winners are below.

October 2008 JFK airport. The winner lives in England so no federal taxes, and he was already a 33year old millionaire. Talk about lucky!

June 2009 West Genese street near Syracuse.

December 2011 Jamaica NY.

October 2013 Plattsburgh NY.

Yes the game has been out since 2008. I believe there were/are 6 jackpot winners. 4 already claimed. One in 08 by a transplanted NYer investment banker purchased at JFK. Two upstate (one was late last year) and one in Queens, NY. The way the winners seem to come out is once a year so I really think one or both jackpots left are lost. Too bad NY Lottery took away their winners atlas. They said they have 'no plans on bringing it back

What I wonder is why NY Lottery NEVER showed the winners of the $30 ticket prize. I suspect that the were no winners

If you know how many top prizes were available at the start of this scratch-off game and the odds of winning that prize, then it is easy to determine how many tickets were printed.

For example, if there were a total of 4 top prizes for $1M/YR/LIFE then:

Total Top Prizes offered: 4

Odds of winning a top prize in $1M/YR/LIFE: 1 in 3,528,000

so, 4 * 3,528,000.00 = 14,112,000 tickets printed

New York lottery sells a $30 ticket scratch-off called Win $1,000,000 a Year for Life. There are 2 two top prize of $1M/YR/LIFE. And 17 $50,000 of second prize. I hate that New York doesn't show amount of tickets printed, unlike masslottery, it shows number of tickets printed and available prizes left. This game has been out since 2008.
