I agree Lildarryl. I think maybe some folks are making some off of pick 3, which seems to be why 90% of the posts here on LP are about pick 3 and pick 4. If a person wants to make a living off of the lottery then they could choose pick 3 as one choice. I will use Oklahoma as an example.

Pick 3 for a box is $80 and a person would need to win many times a week. Forget Pick 4. A straight in Pick 3 here is too hard to get.

Pick 5 for Oklahoma is 1-36 and first prize is $25,000 taxes paid... [ More ]

To achieve more, think big but go small. Figure out what the One Thing which delivers the most bang for your buck is and do that alone. Less really is more when it comes to getting things done.

I have no doubt there are folks that have lottery play strategies that produce consistent profits. They keep that to themselves. I know of a local guy that wins big with incredible results; only someone with an inside track could produce. I heard someone asked him how he does it and in a rude manner flatly refused. I have some clues as to what he may be doing.

It's possible based on the number of number prediction threads started almost daily in the systems forum, that some or all of them are at least hoping to sell their picks.

There are more people making a living by selling lottery numbers than there are who make a living by winning with lottery numbers.

Yes, sports betting would be better. Heck, even roulette or any other crap casino game would be better. But lottery is still fun to play every now and then.

I am in michigan and can drive a short distance over the boarder to windsor casino and play sports bets if i choose this over the lottery.

I know cashman87 does and he uses numbers also for horse races and i know people that play sports bets who make a living,

But which is better at making a living playing lottery or sports bets.

Are we all wasting our time and just spinning our wheels with the lottery?

When we could easily do so much better at gambling sports ? 50/50 odds
