DUDE!! Try this ... I've been playing around with it for a while. One box hit a week.

I call it 0-6-0/1-6-0

Steps:

Take Friday's draw or Friday's Evening draw (which ever is the latest draw) .. ex. California evening draw on Friday was 433. Add 0 to the 1st digit, 6 to the 2nd digit, 0 to the 3rd digit .. ex. 4-3-3 + 0-6-0 = 4-9-3. Take the results from Step 2 and keep adding 1 to each digit until you come up with 10 combos.

Ex.

6 1 5

7 2 6

I don't think the 99 doubles draw per year holds up. Not in Colorado anyways. For example, of the 307 draws in 2014 there were 71 doubles. There is only 58 draws/days left before the year is out. So to reach the 99 doubles figure, doubles have to hit 28 more times. That is like every other day! Not possible. Although, we have been getting a lot of doubles lately

Like most players I use the two pick 3 as one string or system.

The 221 228 hit recentl in New Mexico p3. With all the digit 2's hitting it wasn't a stretch to play 777 last night. I didnt say bingo 99% of pairs have hit in NM since the game was invented. Ridiculous! No need for all these meaningless percentages. Is this what peer had intended the thread to muddle into a pair out percentage fest? Thanks Steve ....excellent. That 94% is almost the same figure that kept showing up years ago for me ......even when we had no software at all.

When I originally posted 90% way back when ........I thought I was being conservative. Well within the margin of error.

How anyone can come up with less than 90% as the AVERAGE effective rate for ALL states I can't really understand. I always get at the very least ...90+ %

Chart below is a total number of times a 6-way has hit in consecutive draws.

For example, in the 4th column under 6 Way we see 1 instance (column 2) where a 6-way has reach 30 consecutive hits without a double or triple.

Total Draws = 5595

Total Draws that have consecutive 6-way draws between 1 and 9 = 94

I would like to add that in the last 365 draws for all state's histories (includes Canadian, Puerto Rico), a 6-way reached 30 consecutive draws 1 time. I believe that was Michigan Evening only draws and also 29 straight draws. Tri-States Combined draws had a consecutive 6-way of 29.

Interesting to see if Ohio combined draws reaches 30 for the evening drawing tonight. Or goes 31 straight draws on Wednesday Midday draw.

I made up little cheatsheet (Dashboard) with all Pick 3 states from last 365 draws

There is 1 state Indiana Combined draws that has 4 consecutive draws containing a double. I believe it is now 5 with today's midday drawing.

Ohio Combined draws currently has 28 straight draws with a 6-way. See last screen shot below

It's called The WIN D's 3 Day Window Doubles Trap

It was used on very rare occasions years ago before software and Multi-State play .....as well as online play became possible.

Now, years later it has gained attention again. It is a very effective Filtering Tool and used to Trap long skipping Doubles.

Thanks for the info, I pulled out my old pick-3, pick 4 program and added the trends analysis which I now call steps.

The games look doable but like you say, I think the double trap would be best if playing online else one might have

to wait a long time between plays. Your program looks great and being able to monitor all the games would give a

player continuous options to play. I think I will add a tracker so that anytime the singles are on a run greater than 7

I guess you can apply the double trap anytime you want. I believe 7 was chosen because you should see a double 27% of the time. So if you have not seen a double in 7 draws then it is due according to its inherent probabilities.

For the year 2014 this is the distribution of where doubles have hit in relation to singles for all the state games.

My understanding is, you locate 6 to 7 consecutive single draws, eg draws 738-586-916-360-834-789(6 single draws), start waging your doubles from 7th thru 10 th(window trap is 4 draws), then stop if no hit, you had doubles 111 (7th draw), 883(11th draw) If you hardly play doubles, then give yourself a wiggle by extending the trap to 3 thru 5 draws.

Okay, I'm back.....still have no clue where you are getting the 9 plays in the last two months stuff. This is the results for the last 4988 draws (back to January 1, 2008). There has only been 9 times that doubles have hit 5 or more times in a row since 2008.

The top part of this chart lists the month date, year, and the LAST set in the string. You can go back and check them yourself. The ONLY caveat is I know Excel flips the Midday and Evening draws and it did so with the 9/10/2012 drawing,... [ More ]

Just downloaded the NY combined Pick3 list and can't find one instance where the doubles went more than 3 draws in a row. So what you're saying makes no sense. If there is not a play in the last year, how are you finding 9 in two months?

Years ago we didn't have the software to track these things. And even if we had, we probably wouldn't have known what to do with it. I remember reading a Steve Player trap system built around digits being out 18 straight draws back in the early 90s when lottery first appeared in Texas.

Since then we've seen digits stay out 22, 25, 29 draws. That doesn't change the Rule of Thumb for the older players, just the way the newer people see it.

Wait a second ...wait a second Pick 3 guy. You are missing this.

Really, check this. Your average game only gets about 10 shots a year at this. We don't care about anything else but those ten shots.

OF those 10 shots .......you will succeed with this trap....on 9 of them on average. You will be correct 90% of the time! On average ....you will only lose 1 time!

You don't really care if they clump together or not.....just as long as you SUCCEED with 90% of them.... and stay consistent... [ More ]

I think I get your drive looking at Jimmy's chart, is a good waging strategy, so the window trap is between 7 th to 10 th draw, lets make it 11th on the average-this will cut unnecessary time frame for huge returns if played right.

That's gambling ! Nothing is a sure thing.

I was at the track a couple of months ago talking with two guys who were reading the race form etc. They told me the favorites were 5-1 ,4-1 etc. I told them the horses looked tired and the stats won't help you.

Needless to say the horses they bet on lost and the ones I bet on came in first and second.

Well, undoubtedly, the chart shows that ,in general, it works well and has had much success. But, the problem is with the wild swings between both consecutive wins and losses. But, in general, any method doing this would need to either be modified or tossed out.

Here ya go. Just for you. Believe this much at least. Believe your own eyes looking at Jimmy's charts.

There are over ++25,000 draws per year around here. Of those draws each year .....we will get approx 7000 +/- Doubles.

AND SO....

Most doubles fall way before they even get to the 8th ...9th ...or 10th draws. In fact it averages out to OVER 90% that never make the 11th. draw !

WinD is an online player as am I. I spent a weekend writing software that can update all the draws for all the state games and organize it into various tables so you can easily see which states are in play for the double-trap. I don't believe LotSoftPro does this but maybe it does but at the time it was dead until Winsum resurrected it again in Ricky's memory. So I thought I would help out a fellow Pick 3 enthusiast. Well, you're ignoring the fact ,as mentioned, that this is not an isolated case. As stated, this can be observed in multiple states. But, where do you get that I'm running around yelling in red ? That was just one statement I've made in red.

Well, the game works off of Probability. That's ,basically, what it all comes down to. Any winning system ,or method, would have to take this into account. But, it's ,definitely, possible for one system to work with the Pick 3. My one system does just that. Anyway, the only way to make sure you win every time is to play all 1000 numbers.

I completely believe they tinker with the algorithm - but when I say tinker, I mean it's the equivalent of the dealer gathering the cards from the players and saying, Okay, now instead of deuces wild, we're gonna play aces low, etc. All essential remains the same... but there's a little bitty spin on the core fundamentals.

The California D3 at least, its method (imho) is to keep things - I mean, on a grand scale: in the scheme of things - I mean, over a long (infinite?) period of time - its goal is to keep things even.

If you can somehow key into how the game keeps things even... you'll have ways to key into secret strategies.
