Back when it was West coast A.M. and Bell hosted it the broadcast was done at KDWN on the mezzanine of the (then) Union Plaza. A few times when I got an early out and he wasn't on the air yet I got to go up and talk to him.

He said he loved his job but the clock was still an adversary, but not in the sense of watching the clock but he still had so many things left to talk about but time ran out.

I've seen pics of lottery machine parts on Mars by the Rover, before NASA air brushed the photos. You can actually see a few balls embedded in the sand. One number was a 5 and the other was hard to make out, but it looked like a 9.

A state that doesn't even have lotto right now could join NMM or PB and if someone from there won someone would be guaranteed to say it's 'always' that state.

I doubt it would be Alabama. They spend their money on fast food.

Now how would that even be possible? With those states out of the game the jackpot would pretty much roll forever. We would for sure see our first billion dollar jackpot with those states gone because it's not too easy to win in states like North Dakota, New Hampshire, etc
