The pick 3 and pick 4 filtered wheelers that we have while they don't have some things that some people might want to have on them are a lot better and much more complete than the filtered wheelers that are out there (available) for jackpot kinds of games such as for pick 4 (Tx2Step), pick 5, pick 6, MegaM and PowerBall.

I have taken a look are at least 2 filtered wheelers for jackpot kinds of games and they don't have much at all on them, a smart baby could have made better filtered wheelers... [ More ]

Thanks. I use several programming languages, depends on the task and eventual place/platform of the application. I use some easier ones just for analysis. As for your request, I can see that information being good history to track. I will add that to my list of things that I am considering to start tracking. Lot of Texas lottery players here I think

I am not sure that I understand your question, Is it:

On a keno game or on jackpot kind of games is it possible to 90% of the time predict 1 of the winning numbers?

If that is the question, it might be possible to often or maybe even very often predict 1 of the winning numbers, but maybe not 90% or better of the time.

I'm a glad that you decided to join Lottery Post. What kind of software do you use to program in? I live in Texas, and the Pick 3 use to be easy to win, now that they added the two extra draws, it threw my set of numbers off. I use several Lottery Programs for the pick 3 there are two that I use more than the others and they are pretty good. Do understand that there is no actual point of certainty owing to the Heisenberg Effect, etc

First non trick question, with all your professional programming experience + Keno expertise: Can there be a predictive computation, methodology, etc to virtually capture a single number using a data base of say 1000 keno PP games (not each every time, mind you, but above the odds at approx 90%)

Very good thoughts everyone, I am enjoying reading them. A decent programmer would not object to a confidentiality agreement in doing work. I would say if you are that confident that the information / idea that you have is that good, then by all means ask a programmer to sign a confidentiality agreement. If they refuse, don't use them. Yes, mmx, that's all he has to do.

Sounds simple to anyone who has never searched 1.2 megs of code trying to find that one little bug. Or stretched their brain turning specific ideas into code.

And sometimes people present incomplete ideas or don't know exactly what they want. The programmer has to fill in the blanks.

Sometimes the programmer can't get there from here and has to derive other data. Most often it's necessary to have a baseline to compare new data too.

mmx1, before you open up and share your ideals with someone, you have to build a relation, then trust, the web is suitable for sharing GENERAL info. I don't mind paying a programmer $1000 to translate my ideal into usable tool if my ideal is protected and safe with him.

Some folks by nature are distrustful, but a sound skepticism is a good thing. A good programmer does not need a data(he has it already), all he needs is very well thought CONCEPT. Of giving a little bit to get a lot? You'd better die than tell the doctor anything?

A good programmer could save you hours and days of manual or excel work.

This nice intention should be precious and encouraged instead of being ticketed as possible fraud.

He has to work hard and spend a lot of time to make someone's life easier.

Be aware that a good lotto programmer the most likely has your problem already solved or built in his programs.

people can give you some vague information or random thought and you turn it into a finished program with a simple wave of your magic wand.

you don't need to bother yourself with worrisome details, like what form is the raw data in, where is it located, what do you want to see as a output, what processing needs to be done to arrive at an output.

Pick4gen at LottoMark com has this feature built in.

Just follow steps from the picture and instructions from the program.This way program will extract your combinations from the the original full P4 wheel (10,000 combos) and show the rest in the red panel.

If you want to reduce either blue or red combos, just click Add blue or Add red set to green panel, generate or paste your combos to yellow panel and Filter it again.

Opposite way would be pasting your combos into green panel then ge... [ More ]

The requested test is now available at LottoMark com under Extras / Personal analyser tab.

Jut paste your data on the left, select one of the radio buttons: Singles, Doubles, TwoDoubles, Triples, Quads, wait a bit if you have thousands of combinations and you'll see your analysis on the right side very soon.

It tests 55,000 combos in 40 sec. Singles (5040 permutations).

If retesting too many combos you'd better click on the navigation tab again.

Winsumloosesum, I got your files downloaded, took a look around at it and seem to get the point of what you are trying to accomplish and how. Certainly would run a LONG time for pick 4 and how you are trying to do it with Excel functions. After a tweak it still ran for 30 minutes before I cancelled it. Too much built in indexing and searching using Excel functions, too much overhead and memory swaps going on. Needs to be an organized set of programs without

Thanks for the feedback and also about any worries you might have! I will read the LP member manual again right way. I thought I did that before I joined but will make sure now by finding it and reading it or re-reading it, and changing any future forum posts as appropriate.

Can you do a program on the Pool 0 through 9(P3,P4,P5 digit games) based on the concept of 'Univariate to multivariate'? P3 1000 combos, P4 10,000, so you can either use historical data(not a fan of historical data) or the matrix of each game, thanks.

Wanted to ask you if you could create a program that calculates skips for each of the Pick 4 sets.

I uploaded 2 Text files. Text file 1 is the list of all the Pick 4 Permutations going across. See box.com link below

Inside the folder are 2 Excel files. The P3StateDraws.xlsm and Pick4Hits.xlsm which is unfinished.

The 2nd text file is a draw history of all the Pick 4 draws in the order they were drawn for every state including Canadian Pick 4 and Puerto Rico. There are over 50,000

But I have decided to start writing some systems and tools for people really into the lottery (such as myself also) going forward, as a hobby part-time. I have always been the guru programmer whatever I have worked on, so I expect no differences or issues in developing lottery tools.
