A Key digit is the Key to unlocking the winning number for that particular day or draw.

Taking onlymoney's example of Key digit 3. If your number doesn't contain a Key digit 3

for that particular draw then you lose. If you pick the wrong Key for that draw you also lose.

If you are sure about your Key digit, playing any other combo that doesn't contain your

winning Key digit will be a waste of time and money.

Let's say tonight I feel one of these pairs will show in my pick-3 game: 18-36-52-79, but the number 3 has been out for a long time, so I may use the 3 as a KEY number and attach it to my pairs. 183-336-532-793.

This is just one simple example of the many ways you can use a key or keys.
