I am in agreement with Saylorgirl in hoping that Ridge is indeed Brother Roy but it sounds like we are mistaken. With you having seen several obituaries with a possible link it makes things even more depressing.

I liked his posts but also respect his choices whether they were voluntary or involuntary.

I miss him a lot and the smiles he brought.

I thought the same thing when I read about Brother Roy on the PB website. However, people will create a persona online. It is possible that Ridge created the drinking, multi-divorced, hillbilly hick from Tennessee solely for LP.
