I am not looking for 'patterns', rather looking for prediction points within a certain interval.The reference point for such estimate can be any parameter(numbers, sum, mean, deviations etc).The data set is the matrix of the game, for example, VA cash 5 has the matrix 5/34, this data is sampled in different cycles to infer different intervals- this approach is more close to randomness which I subscribe.

How coherent is that pattern?

Should'nt it be by lotto # to differentiate hot versus cold numbers?

Confidence interval in inferring data is a simple proposition/ideal of estimating interval for a parameter. Confidence interval is calculated mostly from observations and it differs from sample to sample.

This approach is easy for those not into maths and statistics, your focus should be on the underlying principle ' interval for a parameter'. I am going to do predictions for x/n games like cash 5, FL5, FL 6(6/53) using my understanding of the principle.
