And yes, these 3 triplets are still good for the next time when 87 comes around as your Due Pair. But right now that's 83. Sometimes pairs do repeat ,though,you just never know. Looking back through VA's history it seems as if the 87 pair hits around 5-7 times a month. It's only hit 4x in Dec so far so don't count it out : ) And since 83 is due I might concentrate on the 873x at the moment.

So, the P4 singles come out an average of 1.75 (rounded up to 2) times a year.

What about doubles, and triples

You were right. 7584 was the winning number in P4 tonight. Of course I didn't play, because I had spent $80 yesterday chasing a bunch of P4 numbers that didn't hit. Do you think that the other triplets you listed have a chance of being drawn, since the 7584 has been drawn? Also, what do you think about pick 3? It appears that a lot of the recently drawn numbers have the numbers 2, 7 or 8 in them. What pairs should I focus on there. Thanks for your input.

Your hottest digit is 8 in Va. In my opinion, I'd always be playing an 8. Longest out pair right now

is 87. Longest out triplets are these: (in any order)

Four unique digits in any order, say 1234 boxed, has a 1:417 chance or so of hitting on any draw. That is 1.75 time average per year.

I would like your input on this. Here is what I am thinking. If I am wrong, please feel free to correct and elaborate:

There are 210 boxed singles (such as 1234) in Pick 4, 360 boxed doubles (such as 0012), 45 double-doubles (such as 1122), 90 triples (1112), and 10 quads (1111).

So does this mean that a single should be drawn at least 2-3 times a year, doubles 1-2 times a year, triples once a year and quads every 2-3 years? I am speaking of any order, not exact order.
