I've seen, on multiple occasions, players wager upwards of $50 on the same pick 4 number. And some lotteries even go out of their way to publicize winners who wagered many dollars on the same pick 4 number.

In PA, one could potentially wager up to $40,000 (I believe the liability limit is $20 million) on the same pick 3 number. Up to $2,000 ($10 million liability limit) on the same pick 4 number. I've played the same number straight 40 times @ .50 cents per play. Reason being in NJ they do

paramutual (sp) payouts and the off chance i won and the payout possibly could have been over $300 on a .50 cent making

a $1 ticket over the amount where you have to make out a claim form. So I played it safe ..

In PA the set amount is $500 on a $1 ticket so i would get 20 separate tix on a straight bet.

That why I like the Ohio Lottery play slips because they ran the card only once, but the machine would print the number of tickets marked. Clerks that didn't know, thought something was wrong when the machine kept printing tickets and I would explain.

Sometimes I'll put 4 or 5 different numbers on one card and tell the clerk to run it 2, 3, 4, or 5 times.

I can't remember the last time I played a pick-3 or pick-4 number only once. The Ohio play slips have a place to check multiple times so I marked the number, straight, for how much, and how many times. KY Lottery doesn't have that feature on the play slips and because I was told both ways, players can collect on multiple wins over $600 on one tickets and also told a W2-G is issued, I either tell the clerk the number and how I want to play or have the clerk run a play slip multiple times.

Playing the same set of numbers multiple times, is not uncommon. If you happen to win, you can collect on all tickets.

Steve Player collects a lump sum of money on Pick 3, either by Progressive Wagering, or by playing $20 Straight on one Pick 3 number, which he must be certain, will Hit.

No comments? I am surprised. There has to be players out there who would spend $20 worth of Cash 3 lotto tickets with the same one set of numbers. Wouldn't it be fun to see people try this method every time

Has anyone ever purchased a Cash 3/Pick 3 Lotto ticket by filling out the slip with one set of numbers(such as 2-6-9 straight) and apply that to Panel A through Panel E with the same numbers. In addition, if those winning numbers(straight) pop out for a total of $2500.00, would anyone be willing to use those same repeated numbers by spending $20.00(using the same 5 paneled marked card 4 times into the machine to provide the player with 4 tickets that has 5 sets of the same numbers on each ticket...
