Pick 3/4 draws are all or nothing, and for over 99% of players it's nothing. If you buy a hundred dollars worth of tickets and don't hit your number, you lose all your money every time.

Whereas if you spend a hundred on ten $10 scratchers, the odds are that 2 or 3 of them will be at least small winners, i.e. break even cards. So at least you'll recoup $20 or $30 bucks on your scratcher purchase, which is better than losing everything you bet on Pick 3/4.

The top prizes in the scratch tickets have awful odds, I don't like that.

Pick 3 and Pick 4 have better odds.

I haven't played the scratchers in a long time.

But I haven't won on the Pick 3 or Pick 4, I must add.

LOL lucky to get my money back in most cases, but I usually keeping playing til I win big (hasnt happened YET) or til I lose (LOL happens more often

I definitely win more with scratchers, as most people do. I've hit scratchers for $100 or better several times, whereas I've never won more than $1 on draw game tickets.

The odds of winning anything at all are far better on scratchers than draw games.

In Illinois scratchers are 59% of lottery sales.

I like the scratchers myself, $20 ones in particular. Im hoping to buy a whole roll of $20 scratchers when I get my tax return. I have dropped off of the draw games except for my state draw games, Ive only played power and mega when they are huge jackpots

I was wondering if people win more with draw tickets or scratch tickets? I had been having a losing streak with draw tickets so over a month ago I started gradually buying 20 dollar scratch tickets. Since I have to stay on a budget I am not buying too many scratchers. I won 100 and 40 dollars on the scratchers but also lost on tickets as well.
