That post wasn't meant to be a credible argument as indicated by the emoticon. There are times I like to have cogent and rational arguments and then there are times I like to have fun on the forums and make jokes. Having fun on a discussion forum, imagine that.

Your frequent appeals to ridicule are not credible arguments. You have an unsubstantiated opinion, as do the conspiracy theorists. Neither side can prove they're right.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist, nor am I claiming there was any wrongdoing in the recent Powerball drawing. However, lottery cheating scandals are commonplace throughout history, including in recent years.

Puerto Rico had more PB sales than three different states with $824,040.

December 2012 where every other draw was a winner? Two of those states had sales of $633,848 and $284,978.

I guess what I'm trying to say is... those winners in 2012 are probably in on the conspiracy as well.

It was good news to read that we had not 1, but 3 winners of the PB jackpot - l woke up this morning thinking what a boost this would be to get the message out there that anyone can win, no matter where one was located- provided they had an authentic lottery ticket. It's a conspiracy by the liberals to help Puerto Rico become the 51st state. Puerto Rico will be another blue state once they are part of the union which means more electoral votes will go to the dems for the presidential election in 2016.

I don't believe many conspiracy theories, but I like to read them. Little tiny Puerto Rico won a jackpot faster than the lotto powerhouse of California, so I am sure there has to be some conspiracy theories out there. Tell us the conspiracy theory here.

I will go with that since Puerto Rico showed that the next jackpot was going to be $650 million, the lotto powers that be had to give PR a slice of the pie so they could get their friends the other two shares of the jackpot.
