Lotteries keep records of all the QPs and self picks they sell to verify winning tickets, but I can&#x27;t think of any logical reason why LP would keep records.</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>Everything generated by the RNGs could possibilty be saved or recorded and cross-checked on a computer.<br /><br />True but it would be a waste of time and memory for Todd to do it for every set of numbers generated by every member but not for someone running their own individual test to compare the LP generator with another one. But like Todd mentioned in his post a better random generator is no guarantee of a better result.</p>]]></description>

So, when the machine is down that means that the WAN connection to the central serve is down.<br /><br />Is the RNG proprietary software for each State that&#x27;s loaded into the machine or is it some form of firmware, that&#x27;s built in to the device.</p>]]></description>

Think about how many numbers are being generated everywhere at any given moment (but especially during record sales). The network would be incapable of receiving the request for a QP then sending back that number.
