Thanks for all the information everyone. I cant find discovery family but will keep checking. Will be watching Mega Mansions, that one episode is my favorite, that one and the hotel millionaire, what a contrast lol.

My Lottery Dream House was two episodes done by HGTV with host David Bromsted. So far no more episodes have been shown and dont know if more are in the works.

Thanks again for the info. Is it me or does it seem the shows come on when the lottery pots gain momentum

I checked for this on Xfinity to see if it was On Demand, but is not. However, the guide shows episodes being aired on 5/18 and 5/20 on Discovery Family. Episodes 7, 8, 9 on the 18th starting 7 central. Episodes 4, 5, 6 on 5/20 starting at 7 central. I set it as a favorite so I could find it easier. I used to be able to set a reminder for shows, but the new Xfinity won't do that for me.

About five years back, Hasbro (the toy company) teamed up with Discovery to start a new channel called the Hub , whose primary purpose was to show Hasbro's half-hour-toy-commercial cartoons. Last year, Discovery bought out Hasbro's share and rebranded it as Discovery Family . It still shows a bunch of the cartoons, but they've also added other stuff like this show.

Discovery Family is a lower tier channel than Discovery, I never knew I had it until I cut down my (bill) package.

I think it's primarily for your kids, lot of (lame) cartoons and stuff.

Have it on right now, Island Dreamers and doctor threatened.

Next, Millionaire janitor, followed by Country Millionaire, then Island and Janitor repeat.

Looks like these may be the update shows some where hoping for.

An ad said 5/27 on DISCF channel.

I remember seeing the episode about the restaurant called That one place as that is where the son had his proposal party. It's a shame that it closed up in 2013. The previous two restaurants didn't last long either.

Hard to imagine what life is now like for the Owen family as they sunk quite a bit of money into that business. I do hope the son is still married.

I only got around to the Leroy episode last night, LOL

I'll never figure out why he rented a motel room to store his junk from a pawn shop,

when his new house had an empty basement except for a toilet that wasn't connected.

However the 2nd half featured the Owen family from Idaho, I liked that they used winnings to pay off big medical debt.

Then they bought a bar/restaurant called That Place in Buhl city ID.

Do not be surprised if Mr. Lustig plays Cash-3, of which his winnings are not publicised. And he can afford to buy a ton of tickets with the same numbers straight. The worst thing is I don't think the toilet came in first in the cringe-factor moments in that episode. There were so many to choose from. And I still don't get how the $45 knife investment took precedence over him getting his teeth fixed. How does he have a mouth full of gum at 31? Jeff Foxworthy needs to put this in a redneck song and be done with it. But then that moron son might take it as a compliment. Tom Cruise doesn't have a song written about him, Pa.

It was on a different channel that was like a Hollwood tabloid type channel, that is also not memorable.

Yea, the drugs are bad news, seen a lot of people lose that battle.

He had a drug problem before lottery/ wife, if anything she just restarted it.

you know I cant recall reruns of David Lee Edwards and I dont know why.

Both David Lee Edwards and Abraham Shakespeare are tragic stories.

Someone commented that they thought all of Mr. Edwards problems began with his wife and her drug problems. In retrospect, I had to agree as David had planned to invest and did place his money in investments, hired a financial planner, etc. That financial planner made a couple of statements after David passed and said had he put the principle in invest... Just found a new channel like the METV, called Antenna have you seen it? it is OTA. It has Betwitched, Dobie Gillis, Patty Duke, Father Knows Best, Dennis the Menace so far that I have seen. Lol, they are old, good shows, sure beats the garbage on cable. Although there is still a handfull of shows on cable I watch but think soon I will give them up too and save a cable bill. Hi Music: Haymaker caught the schedule for saturday's showing this time. But I am glad you were able to find TLC's schedule. It seems I cant pull up the schedule, it showed it in beta and my antique ipad wouldnt load it lol. I think between us all, we will keep tracks of the upcoming shows. Yes, I too, am on PST just wish I was much much more south lol.

i was just thinking of the Hotel Millionaire, James Gadske (sp). Cant remember where he was from but his whole life was pretty much exposed on the show. He did have his friend looking out for him but I wonder how many people caught up with him to ask for money and if he was able to say No. Sure hope he still has his millions, his story was REAL. Being a native Californian, I cant afford living there any longer and it breaks my heart. IMO the liberal lunes have absolutely destroyed that state.

There used to be a proposition years ago that if you were grandfathered in with your house your property taxes could not be raised and it was wonderful, then the politicians got ahold of it and Poof!

The other winner spent about 10 percent of pre-tax lottery winnings on a house. I think I would have sold my current house, moved eastward from California to either Texas or Florida, and then purchased a housing unit in a college town. The only shows like The Lottery Changed My Life was when someone posted last week that HGTV had two lottery winners looking for new homes. It was two half hour shows and have not been replayed yet. Dont know if there will be more in the future.
