Personally, I am more believer of hard cold science/mathematics than astrology. Vedic astrology is definitely around from long time and is the core of hindu religion itself. A lot of people have a faith on it. While researching around the net for quantifying luck (in more mathematical sense), I came across a software called Lotto Astrology. It claims to forecast the luck and generate numbers for the lottery.

it works in my cycle calandar, Mostly luck ( if it can be called that), peaks in the first phase of the moon on my chart. So far its held true.

Its somewhat important to be aware of the indicators for when it starts to ramp up!. I think its a system worth looking into and getting a grasp for. Can't hurt

Astrology yes True astrologist have mention that your day as peaks and highs for Lady Luck to be more by your sign your side.
