I have no fear of throwing my money away. I know perfectly well what the odds are. But where else can a person spend a dollar or 2 and have a chance at millions?

When you think about it, there are only a few winners to lose while there are millions of losers who can lose. When you talk about PB and MM jackpot winners, how many people are you talking about? At 25-50 winners a year over twenty years, maybe 500-1000 winners. If one of those winners win again, that 1 in 500-1000, if one those losers win that's 1 in millions.

I think that their odds would only seem better if their spending habits were equal to those who have never won. But the reality is that they can afford to spend more (or more often) and they do, even if they don't want to admit it. Why do you think rich people get richer? He is only speaking of jackpot winners who win another jackpot. When you consider the number of jackpot winners and the numbers of them who win a second jackpot, their odds do seem better than those of regular players who have never won a jackpot.

But buying more tickets for a drawing does not guarantee a win. I could buy 100,000,000 powerball quick picks for the next drawing and it's VERY likely that I'd lose miserably.

These people should travel here everytime a PB or MM jackpot gets over $300 million, win repeatedly and become mega billionaires.
