I think we may very well see an end to PB soon. It takes the game way too many draws for its jackpot to be fully funded (on average, it needs seven draws without a winner), so there's too big a risk of winning underfunded jackpots for them. The last three jackpots won were not fully funded, and in the case of the base jackpot, the total payout was even bigger than the dollar amount of sales. Mega Millions is much more realistic, as it usually needs only two draws without a winner for its jackpot... [ More ]

Most of the people who have won The PB, MM, or their state lotteries has always been via QP. Although, it's better to use you own numbers and hope for the best, so long as those number combinations has not been drawn in the past. For those who pick their numbers and won, either they were very lucky or they have been playing the same number since the game had started.

If I'm playing just one line then I usually buy a QP. If I'm playing more than one line then I'll pick my own numbers because I don't want a number to repeat on multiple lines, I want to play as many numbers as I can.

Ever since it became $2 a ticket the jackpots have been won more often.

I usually play win it gets $100 million or more.

California has the largest State Population in many ways more players contributing toward the pot- you don't hear them complaining about they should have won that jackpot not someone from a lesser populated State .. There are no correct numbers only people in the correct states ( places ), or in puerto rico. The places that aren't worthy are usually blue states, that steal wealth from other states through the lottery. The winners pages on the MM and PB websites don't lie, ( looking at jackpot wins only ).

I hope nobody feels sympathy for state lotteries. They keep $1 for every powerball ticket bought and most of the times the states don't even pay any second prize for weeks. And if you're late in claiming the jackpot, they say to you sorry sir, it's the rules. No ticket, no claim

Then when you win anything over $600, they hit you with taxes. I like to see players hitting the jp after 4 to 5 rolls.

Yes, that's a different situation ... a 6/54 game. I checked your state game out several months ago when I was searching around for all the states that had a 6/49 lotto game. I wouldn't like that game ... I'm glad for the PA 6/49 game with some better odds and also the MA Megabucks Doubler game.

However, there was one state, as I remember, that had a 6/43 game ... I didn't make any notes at the time and I just can't find that information anymore. The odds were much better in that game. Sure w... [ More ]

Just to add ... it has never bothered me what state wins more jackpots ... to me, it's all about the odds ... I fully understand that the states that have a higher population will probably win more jackpots overall.
