Maybe you're looking mathematical symbols as a foreign language. Get a hold of the person who gave you the formula and ask him what they mean.

The only language it shows is English enabled.

What version of Excel are you using?

In 2007 open your EXCEL OPTIONS menu. First tab is POPULAR. Last item in the right hand menu is LANGUAGE SETTINGS.

Click it and see what Languages are enabled.

If that doesn't help, post a screen capture of the page and formula.

My pc is set for english but one excel 2013 formula comes up in spanish. Cannot figure why but how can I change it back to english. Need helllllp. thanks
