Thanks steve. I purchased the program years ago and then my computer tanked. I have a license but i am not good or patient enough with all the folders files etc. I'm an old ms dos guy.

I'll try it again and see if i'm able to get it to work on another old xp pc. Thanks for everything.

Glad to hear that Lotsoft Pro is going forward. I use this software daily all of the time. In addition I'd like to add that the member has a social media website that he and others talk about Lotsoft Pro among other things. Thanks winsumloosesum for the dedicated work you've done in the past with this software. I believe going forward you will continue to be instrumental in the continued success of this software.

The member paying for the Live Updates is also updating the Pick 3 and Pick 4 drawing text files. I would make sure your drawing histories are correct for the last week (7 days).

I would make a backup copy of your data folder meaning create a zip file with all the files located in the C:\INW\Lotsoft\data folder on your computer.

I will post a link to a zip file with my data folder. mdb (database) files contain my Pick 3 and Pick 4 games so if you created any custom draws etc. you will need... [ More ]

THANKS! LP member (who ever you are) for taking over the expense and keeping the updates going!!! I know I appreciate it and sure many others do! I do not know how many use Lotsoft, but I use it EVERY DAY! So thanks to everyone who is involved in keeping the updates live and the program going!

Lotsoft Pro 5 is hard coded to only update through the Brinkster FTP server.

A member here has taken over the server costs so for the time being you can still do the Live Updates.

Isn't it possible to just run an FTP server on your own PC? You don't need to pay for hosting.

The FTP Live Updates have come to an end.

FTP transfers to the Brinkster FTP server have ended. You may be able to perform Live Updates but you will not update any current drawings.

I installed Lotsoft Pro 5 on an older computer running Windows XP and also registered the Pick 3 and Pick 4 games using the props.mdb file.

I really am going to miss the updates of LotsoftPro.

It is a pitty you couldn't get a group to help pay the server.

The live updates had ended by at least yesterday. I tried doing a live update on the 27th and it worked. I tried again last night and it didn't import the drawings.

Single draws were fine. I haven't done anything with the zip files. Just wanted to let you know.

To all Lotsoft Pro 5 users.

This will be the very last month for Live Updates for the Pick 3 and Pick 4 games. Due to the cost of paying for the server and a limited number of users updating games I decided to discontinue paying the server costs.

I have decided to keep updating both the pick 3 and pick 4 games and will post a video shortly on how to update singe games.

I'll post a zip file for the updates each Monday morning.
