One draw after my exodus... which means I left and it was known that I left. For me that means that I grin (read that to mean grit my teeth) and congratulate my co-workers and never mention to my darling husband that I had even ever been a part of the winning group - because I just wouldn't want to hear him grumble for the next 38-odd years.

I think it would depend on if the winning ticket was purchased using rollover funds from the previous drawing.

Let's say I contributed to the pool for Tuesday's drawing and the pool won $100, but instead of the $100 being divvied up, the $100 is put towards buying tickets on Friday but on Friday I decide not to play anymore. If the pool then wins, could I not claim a share since my Tuesday winnings helped to pay for Friday's tickets?

Never roll over any pool winnings. If you do, you are asking for trouble. Start each new pool fresh from the ground up.

True RJ- l think when a person plays solo and loses, they look at it as par for the course. When playing with a group, sometimes the thinking changes. I vaguely recall a few years ago an incident back East with a former lottery pool member attempting to get a share of the money despite him having left, his reasoning was part of the rollover money that was used to purchase the winning ticket was his, therefore he felt entitled to a share.

It's really no different than asking if you had played a set of numbers for years and the day after you stop playing them they come in. Should you run to the lottery commission showing them the thousands of losing tickets with those numbers and expect to share some of the jackpot or should you just move on and be satisfied knowing it wasn't your time to win.

Our PAYPAL process is how members know if they are current. If they miss a deposit, our SLUSH fund automatically covers them for the next rotation.

Some pools have people that join in, then drop out for awhile then join in again, which leads to nothing but trouble. Especially when the pool hits. Then you have people wanting a cut because they USED to be in the pool. Or else it's, I want to get back in, but I'll pay you next week ... Oh, you hit this week? Where's my share?

If you don't have a copy of the winning tickets the rollover doesn't apply to you. Walk away and keep your dignity. If you were playing for a while--some of the winners may give you a little something--maybe.

*You guys used to roll your previous winnings over you convinced that part of that rollover money had your name on it.

*Do you go back to the group and try to work out something or forget about it all together.
