It's all about the (very slight) possibility of winning a handsome sum. I don't think most people who purchase scratch off tickets expect to win the top prize as the odds are astronomical but I'd imagine most everyone would be quite content winning a few hundred, depending on how much money is spent on the games.

They sold a billion tickets in 4 days for that one.

I think you greatly underestimate the number of people who do the math or care that they have no chance of scoring any real money.

Mostly saving up for a laptop so I'm not spending a fortune on batteries to record stuff on camera every day. Rechargeables are an option if I feel like going to Wal-Mart, I guess.

IT seems like it may be worth it to buy books again. Queen of green had over 50% min payback And so did eights. Three dollar game less than 33%, and new 25 about 48%. Not bad not bad. I have a feeling donafello might see some real nice winners soon.

No really, I use to hit a 50 and 100 in cash king, same book. Mississippi queen might be a good one with my history.

yup pretty much same old same old except no more 125 and the longer odds for top prize

have returned from the shell with the new games - 10 of each so spent $350 - here are the results

$2 - 2 wins ($4 and $8) rest duds

$3 - 1 win ($20) rest duds

$5 - 1 win ($5) rest duds

$25 - 4 winners - 50 was $80, 45 was $40, 44 was $40 again, 41 was the big one $200 all single matches too

so $397 out of $350 so did take a bit of cuomos money

Yup I remember the maximum millions, that's the way it should be - a larger second prize than what we have now. And I wouldn't be surprised if the odds to win $500 on the $25.00 ticket were about 1 in 1500, same as the current $25.00 ticket.

ok so report summary and holiday tour summary

no games retired this week, 100x still at 4 top and 10 2nd

BUT - $10 frenzy went from 3 top and 24 2nd to 5 top and 62 2nd, game started w 4 top and 40 2nd

which means they reprinted the entire run of 18,540,000 tickets and 2 (yes 2) top prizes were claimed on that game last week

Interesting enough if a game is being collected from the retailers it is supposed to be put in red on the instant game report page but the $30 game is still in black...

haha - golden ticket u can already spend $300 to win $40 - heard someone bought $500 of x100 to get back $90

This is both exciting and scary. Exciting because of the odds of winning at least $50.00 but scary because I know I'll spend at least $150.00 to get to that $50.00 win

good idea these christmas games are horrible (haven't played but all the other tickets have not been nice to me since the day i won the $300 think NYL trying to tell me something) - still mad about them getting rid of royal riches which still has 3/4 top prizes unclaimed

Not sure. I've only heard rumors about a new $30 game. I'll send in a FOIL request and hopefully they will answer.
