Yeah, I've played them but never hit anything.

Have also played the numbers off of fortune cookie slips that people leave at the lottery counter.

I'm pretty much convinced that the people who leave these things work for the state lottery.

When I first started playing, I would have issues with the betting slip reading or working in the machine. I realized it was the pencil debris and now place one slip under the one I am filling out.

RedStang- your response got me thinking. You right. It had to be Scratcher fluff - the crap that is left on tables when people use a penny or other item to reveal their prize beneath, because as l read your remark l envisioned how l run into that debris a lot when l step up to the play slips stand.. Thanks for setting me straight.

I had a clerk try to dump some mistakes on me when I drove up to the drive thru with two megamillions play slips that I expected to cost $10 when he handed me two tickets and sad that will be $15. I checked the tickets and only one had the numbers from my play slip and the other not only had the megaplier but different numbers than on my slip was printed before I drove up to the windows. I told him I had never seen a terminal make that kind of mistake and I wasn't paying for that ticket.

Nope- but l have been suckered into paying more than l should. Awhile back l rolled up to a convenience store, filled out 2 lines of PB- unbeknown to me, a piece of the pencil chaff of folk previously filling out their slips made its way onto the advance play and l had to end up paying $16.00 instead of four. This Chinese woman became irate when l tried explaining that l only wanted 2 lines..l paid and left.

I went to buy my Mm ticket while ago and found a very faintly filled out slip with 5 numbers and it was placed neatly back into the holding slot (not on the counter part). So I played that slip with those 5 numbers. I never cared to buy mistake tickets but this situation called my name.
