I was thinking the Soaring Eagle Casino was in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, but knew there were other Indian casinos in northern Michigan. There is a Saganing Eagles Landing close to Bay City.

Well thank you kind Knight. My next mini trip is to the Palm Springs area. There is the Morongo Casino off the I 10 and quite a few down in Palm Springs. Maybe August is not the best month to visit the desert but I prefer less touristas when I play. I will take your luck with me and wish you the same

Thanks Redstang! I must say I have not made it to the far east (coast that is) on any of my trips. I have heard of Foxwoods but not the other. Casino Windsor has a beautiful multi level atrium and I believe it is a sort of waterfall. I love the casinos that keep a Native American or a sort of nature theme.

Check out Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun in CT. Foxwoods has a bingo game with over 3k seats and Mohegan has a 50ft waterfall. Can't remember which one it was, but there was a huge Keno board.

I do feel I have missed some of the good ole USA. I have not perused the Southern States for Casino fare. Surely there are some Lottery Post members who can point me to either some commercial casinos or Tribal Casinos down that' a way.

I also have slighted the Pacific Northwest, so I would love to hear some recommendations for there as well.

Now you all have me thinking...are there casinos in Hawaii and Alaska? Granted the road trip would not work to Hawaii but Alaska is... [ More ]

There is a high demand for good gaming books in stores, Internet (as you mention), especially 'How To' win books here in Las Vegas!

Perhaps the book could follow the perennial best seller autobiographical THIRTEEN AGAINST THE BANK by Norman Leigh wherein he dynamically demonstrates his methodology for over coming the game odds the casino countermeasures in a profitable road trip in England France

Two of my passions are Road trips and Keno...so I combined them. I drove from California to Michigan and stopped at most every commercial Casino and Tribal Casino along the way. From the gaggle in San Diego to the several in Detroit (Motor City Casino, Greektown, MGM and more) and even snuck across the bridge to Windsor, Ontario Canada for their Casino Windsor . I have also been to Blackhawk in Colorado, a few river boats in Illinois, one out of the way in Council Bluffs Iowa..you name it. I sho... [ More ]
