Adding a mega ball drawing would make it harder to hit the jackpot. Just reduce the number matrix from 59 to 55.

Lotto has terrible payouts and you get only 1 dollar if u match 3 numbers which is bad. But its 1 dollar for two games but it doesnt make up for the payout. They need to either decrease the number 59 to 55 and have a mega ball (1-20) feature which means dropping the bonus number or increase payouts. Payouts would be:

2/5= free ticket

2/5 + mega= 1 dollar (maybe 2)

3/5= 5 dollars

3/5 + mega= 30 dollars

4/5= 100 dollars

4/5 + mega = 1000

5/5= 10000

5/5 + mega = jackpot

OK...What's coverage ?

Coverage means the amount of six number combinations that are covered or bought by players.

Lotto's odd's are 45 million to 1. That means there are 45 million different/possible combinations of six numbers in a matrix of numbers 1 thru 59. (Lotto's current matrix)

agree the scratch tickets in NY top out at about 75%

draw games should usually pay about 50% at the very minimum, but NY Lotto is at 40

They need to reduce the size of the matrix by a few numbers, so it's a little easier to win the jackpot.

Any New Yorker who thinks they're going to get a 90% payout must be delirious. It AIN'T gonna happen. 60% to 70% is doable.
