175,000,000 to 1. I'm not sure what it is now, with the updated number schemes.

I play too much money. More than I can afford to lose every week when the jackpot is this high.

Correct, PowerPlay 2nd prize is capped at $2 million and multiplier does not apply to jackpot.

People tend to forget that the 2nd prize is also serious cash. A bunch of people from a bunch of states won the 2nd prize. $2M or $1M IS NOTHING TO SNEEZE AT. If I can get the 2nd prize at least once every month, you all can have the $billion jackpot with all my blessings.

Why wouldn't it happen with the new rule after October 3? A powerplay of 10X will apply to all jackpots up to $150M so at only $100M and a powerplay of 10 someone could win a $1B jackpot. This also means a second prize could be worth up to $10M with powerplay.

Your question is based on your so called ability to foretell the future : thus your can't win statement. It's a false premise. Someone will win regardless of your assumption.
