... And the powers that be just simply can't get past their GREED factor! I used to play 20 tickets a draw years ago because I actually thought the increase in odds warranted the extra tickets. However, this has decreased with each matrix change, and now with this most recent change I plan to play just one ticket per draw, just to be in it. However, no actual thoughts of winning surface, which is the real reason to play in the first place. No hope to win, no real reason to play.

Since PB is rigged does it really matter the odds? Somebody in FL or CA is going to win it anyway.

I was watching an old rerun of The Millionare and it brought back memories when not so long ago a million dollars was considered a life changing amount. Jackpots of $100M-$300M might not seem large to you but that's more than enough for the groups of players PB and MM are targeting.

That's awesome! That's what the odds need to be for us to have large jackpots.

Even with those odds that need scientific notation to calculate, it would still be way too easy for some winners to win it, but there would be less winners overall leading to larger jackpots.

I relate the odds of winning a jackpot game to being able to stand on the correct 1 sq ft tile in a room. The size of the room is just a little bit bigger or smaller than the following:

MM 3 miles square PB 2.5 miles square PB 3.25 miles square (new matrix)

Can you even figure the odds of winning something with that size matrix? There's nothing wrong players in Michigan winning the jackpot or players else where winning it either.

I don't understand why Powerball doesn't go with a real HARD matrix? It's still going to be way too easy to win in places like Michigan.

If Powerball wants to give us bigger jackpots, then they need to actually make it HARD to win.

Here's what I'd propose...computer draw...white balls from 1 to 9,999,999,999,999. Powerball from 1 to 999,999. Keep it a 5 + 1 game.

I'd like to see certain states win this 5 or more times a year LOL.
