I have a Flash drive and a little book she sent everyone in her group.. I never really use the Flash Drive but I think I will start using it. the First of the year.. The group she had is awesome I am still in the group she had everyone wants to carry on with the group..

This is the downside of picking numbers for a lottery pool. You get people mad at you if you don't win and then you get people mad at you 'cause you didn't win enough!

Pair that with the problems of collecting the money every week and its a job I wouldn't take on for anything, in spite of the advantages of being able to wheel a larger pool of numbers and play more tickets.

Good to hear you got a big win with Gail's software.

I had a great admiration for Gail Howard's lotto savvy and techniques and her always very courteous staff. I owned her old DOS software (actually purchased it twice) and in the late 1900's I with a small group of people at work missed a $65M lotto jackpot by one number using the software. One of my co-workers was very angry at me for not having made a mistake while marking the lottery slip in order to catch the number that was missing which was No. 1. I had chosen No. 2. Ooouch!

I think that is a positive indicator for the future of the company. Hopefully the grand daughter is tech-savvy and can move the company forward in software and app development. One of the major complaints that I have read over the years is that the Advantage software stuck with DOS far too long and weren't very speedy with their software upgrades.

Very sad to hear about the passing of Gail Howard. She was a very generous and kind individual. I was hoping to meet her after my Jackpot win this year, and to go visit her in Vegas, but alas!, life can have many surprises. Rest In Peace.

I could very well be mistaken, but from reading Gail Howard's farewell letter (which she wrote in late September) I got the feeling she may have known she was terminally ill. Whatever. She'll be greatly missed.

I just called the tech support and he gave me the link to where it's mentioned. Strangely enough he was somewhat rude about helping me out saying he wasn't obligated to tell me.

Edit: He did also mention that in time there will be more info on the net about her passing.

jeeps1 said she passed away Monday morning (Oct. 19), and that GH's personal assistant spread the news on a private Facebook page. Very odd they would not let her fans know on their website or main Facebook page. I know that their website was updated on Tuesday, although not with news about Gail, so somebody is updating their site. Just not with news about Gail.

I have not found anything, and the one person who mentioned that the news was passed along in a private Facebook page has basically refused to copy and paste the info to me. Also, all the official Gail Howard pages (website, Facebook page) have nothing. So I have no way to confirm this. Very strange.

So sad, one of her staff recently did pass, but yes-Gail Howard did pass also. She was an original, a pioneer in lottery strategies that she shared with the world. Her travel adventures are documented in her latest book, Born for Adventure , it reads like a novel-its great, I feel like an armchair traveller learning about different countries through her eyes.

Gail will be missed, we were blessed to know of her. May she rest in peace, condolences to her family, friends, and staff.

Yes, a true lottery pioneer and very clever person. I remember meeting her in NYC at one of her seminars where people would barely let her speak but she wasn't flustered because she really knew her stuff.....classical (lottery) analysis. I suspect that she enjoyed her life and travels and made a fair amount of money from her excellent systems. Rest in peace, Gail.
