With MM and PB, I'm a jackpot hunter so I'm more likely to purchase QPs because win or lose, I won't be replaying those combination.

Self picks are more of a conditional bet though lots of players play birthday, anniversary, and other significant dates on one or two lines.

I'm pretty sure I read this on the MM site. In the FAQ, it said 70% of winners are quick-picks and 70% of tickets sold are quick picks.

Edit - Actually, it's on the PB site and a bit vague 70 to 80

Both QPs and self-picks have their merits and short comings, but both are capable of generating a win. IMHO, it all comes down to personal preference -- if you enjoy studying the numbers and picking your own combinations, go for it! If you don't enjoy the process, or if you don't have the time, just buy a QP.

Background: When I first started playing Wisconsin Supercash they had mechanical draws, what I didn't know is in about 2004 they switched to RNG computers. I didn't know they did that until I visited Lottery Post. This website is a wealth of information. Since then I changed my strategy. I created a chart similar to stocks. I've come very close to hitting the numbers but close only counts in hand grenades. LOL
