That was all for the show. You know if she'd really bought that plane we would have heard about it. Cynthia would have made sure the public knew. I'm beginning to think TLCML is about as real as RHOA. Because:

The only lottery winner who has ever had cursed winnings was Hurley from the show Lost. Jack Whitakker wasn't cursed, neither was Bud Post, nor Edwards nor even Shakespeare.

The only difference between Shakespeare and the others was that he didn't intentionally/knowingly make godawful decisions. They were still bad, but he didn't know they were bad, so it's hard to blame him for his own mistakes. I am looking at real estate, especially California real estate. I have a Broker in my family so I would not go into it blind.

Well then a pretty much self imposed curse of the lottery lol. Bad decisions.

Those that win and dont prepare (and follow the directions of those they paid for their expertise) are doomed for failure. That and some self control.

A worry of mine if I am blessed with a win, is trusting others, i.e. Bernie Madoff. So many people much smarter than myself have been ripped off by unscrupulous individuals. Spread it around, not put all my eggs in one basket, invest in gold, silver, have cash on h... [ More ]

I dont know much about the curse of the lottery, (or show) not to say it doesnt exist or isnt real but wouldnt it be prompted by stupid decision making by the winners? Can we say David Lee Edwards or Abraham Shakespeare were cursed? I am very sorry for what happened to Abraham, Dee Dee Moore was just plain evil. Another is that young mother in South Carolina with the drug dealing boyfriend that she posted bail for. We all know how that story is going to end if someone doesnt step in to wake her

These winners do not make the daily news. Especially not the police blotter.

They are regular winners who do good things with their winnings.

I guess that most of them are not bothered by relatives, friends, and others. At least not after they been winners for a short time.

They will not be among the few winners on Curse of the Lottery show.

I missed the father and son episode, I'll try to catch it next time. For some reason, my favorite story is the guy who needs teeth surgery. I felt very happy for him. But snip , $45,000 for the operation, and 7 hours of surgery? God bless him. Brad Duke had a ten year plan, and it's year 10 now, I wonder how he's doing.

Yep, just watching this episode right now. They are being schooled on etiquette. This is very hard to watch.

My favorite is the Morrisons of New York. I absolutely love their house, the only thing missing is more acreage and a different location.

I agree with the post about Cynthia Staffords boyfriend. They were looking at jets and he wanted a Bugatti? That is insane. The maintenance alone on a jet would eat up whats left. I dont think they ever went through with that purchase however.

Just turned it on, watching Cynthia strafford. Is she still with her trainer? I don't think having 22 million is enough for you to be looking at private planes, it looks like her trainer has dollar signs in his eyes.

I think the are trying to pump up jackpot amounts. Before I was a serious player, I didn't buy all that many tickets until I saw these programs on tv. They got me thinking about the lottery.
