As I have always said, there are players that it's WAY too easy to win, and others could never win.

Any jackpot winner can go up and buy more tickets and win any time at will.

Myself on the other hand, let's say PB and MM were to continue as games for the next 250,000,000 years with drawings twice a week per week. I could hypothetically buy 100,000,000 tickets per drawing for 100,000,000 years and probably never even win a 5+0.

Also makes one wonder if all those people in Michigan who go from lower Michigan to the UP know they're going 'abroad', according to some, anyway.

Google Merriam Websters. Generally if you have to cross a large body of water then you are going abroad. I don't have to be going to France.

I would say luck is receiving something positive in ones' life that wasn't expected to occur, or even necessarily thought about as occurring. Usually the event is preceded with the words I can't believe . As examples:

I can't believe I passed that test!

I can't believe I got a date with the little red head!

I can't believe I got this plush job!

I can't believe we had triplets! (well maybe not)

I can't believe I have a trust fund that nobody told me about!

I guess I subscribe to The harder I work, the luckier I get theory. A lot of lottery winners have been playing a long time; some buy lots of tickets; some play the same numbers until they hit; or focus on one scratch game until they win. I consider all of those actions as work.

The person who just decided to play one time and just happened to get a winner is either lucky or blessed.

Oh, there's so many examples. Remember the female corrections officer in NY that thought she played MM, but had played PB and won the jackpot!

The 19 year old girl in Georgia that won a jackpot with the first tickets she ever played.
