Seriously, it makes no sense for you to tell people not to play. We discuss here because we play. To not play is to not discuss, result less forum activity, slow death of part of membership.

Day one was a success, no tickets played today. Thanks for your input, debit cards are just as bad as cash. Hopefully we can all use this thread to share some stories on how a few bucks turned into a lot of losses. Have a wonderful weekend.

I'm trying to quit too or at least cut it down to a minimal amount stick to that budget. I'm more tempted to play If I have cash on me or I can use my debit card to make cash withdrawals. I try to only keep my credit card on me so I can't spend cash on lotto or have an easy method to withdraw cash to play. Good luck I hope you can beat the addiction.

Read his last two posts and note that in the first one he claims that he hasn't purchased a single ticket up until the date of the posting (December 5).

On the most recent post he claims he last purchased tickets on December 4.

He needs to call a hotline to get help for his need of attention.

I played on 12/4 and slipped up this morning, down $200, not one single winner. Now back to work for another 12 hours! Closing the bank account and putting the rest of my paycheck in silver while it's low ($14/oz).

Just saw this post. I am in the same boat (and same area as you) - Palm Beach county has by far the WORST tickets in the state. Look at posters from other areas - Sarasota, Miami, Jacksonville.... they always hit $500 or better. I have blown thru soo many tickets and my best win is $4,000, and that was years ago when tickets and odds were much better. I have not been to the snip claim center in years.....

I am not a troll, I wish I was then I would be a few grand richer and in a way better position. As of my posting of this thread, I have not played a single ticket. I made a few dollars at work today and went straight to my bank. Yes, you are right about never playing again. EZcash, I also keep viewing my state's lottery page and seeing big winners which is what causes me to buy and buy more. Even though you receive support through the forums, part of the problem stems from them. I would try to avoid the online forums and social media pages and try finding support locally. At some point, you have to know that if you become homeless and jobless, you wont be able to buy scratch offs. Try leaving your money and credit cards at home and only take a few dollars for pocke... I may be in the minority but I'm suspect of someone who joins a lottery forum about a month ago to primarily discuss his issues with gambling.

I know I've posted a lot about my sickness.
