No, the at the bottom is a copyright notice, which covers content, format, colors, etc. (The Copyright page contains all the particulars.)

The registered trademark covers the use of the word mark Lottery Post , which is now protected. (It was previously legally protected through its long use on this website, but this is now much stronger protection.) It certainly does protect against people misusing Lottery Post (or very similar names) in an attempt to confuse people.

Does it offer any protection from the thousands of statistics sites that use a site's domain as a sub domain of their site to lure people in only to find borrowed Alexa statistics and ads?

I started off doing it myself years ago and finally ended up using my very good attorney in the end. It is a process that you can do by yourself, but it is more complicated than just filling out forms so be prepared to invest a good amount of time and patience. A good lawyer can not only help the process go quicker, but also can help you avoid trying things that will not succeed, so a better chance of getting it right the first time.
