It is not &#x27;advertised&#x27; because they prefer to have the winners plastered all over the media sites... it is a great promotion. Remember though, due to lottery winners being paid with state funds, there are steps one could take through the freedom of information act to force the reveal of an anonymous claim. For that reason I think it may be wise to request anonymity and claim through a trust. But the South Carolina lottery website makes no mention of it.<br /><br />Did the past winners simply ask for no publicity? Or is South Carolina a True anonymous state.
