Thats NOT right!!! I would FREEK if I looked at my numbers and at first thought I have the number, I just have to find the ticket' and then figured out I didn't have the ticket.

I also suggest you not buy tickets for your brother, if I remember right isnt this the one who used to 'pound' on you

Something else has occurred to me about these raffles. In each raffle, there could be a maximum of eight unlucky poor souls that had a one-off . Because PA awards 4 top prizes of one million dollars, there are usually two one-offs for each winning number drawn.

Somebody had the number immediately before the winning number, and somebody had the number immediately after. Now, that could be the same guy who also won the million dollars, or it could be either two or three completely different pe... [ More ]

It turns out that it was not my brother that won $100 with ticket number 075831.

But as a result of this, I've learned something besides the fact that I'm never going to buy my brother a ticket again. It's something that I had not given any thought to in the past, and I'm kind of glad this incident with my brother has happened.

I too am surprised the next one is starting in a few days and ends March-19th. That's a lousy date, but maybe the PA Lottery has it all figured out this time. But doubt it though, since the 4th quarter raffle, which is a busy ticket buying time, didn't sell out. They'll be lucky to sell 300K tickets in 2 months during winter. May be a good time to play, but leery of glitches along with the remote possibility of PA Lottery flaking out and extending the deadline.

Anyone wanting the raffle results can check Lottery Post's Pennsylvania Lottery Results page. (Scroll down to the Raffles section.)

The PDF released by the PA Lottery is not entirely searchable, because all the numbers on the entire first page are contained in a non-searchable image, not text. The Lottery Post raffle results page is entirely searchable.

I live in PA and am tired of seeing the ads on the terminals for yet another raffle drawing.

This next one will start sales on January 11th? So with the schedule of sales 4 times per year,

its become no more special and in your face than say, Cash 5 or the daily games for that matter.

The daily notifications on the website itself will tout GET YOUR'S before they sell out!!!

I just checked my tickets for the pool I run at work. I bought 9 tickets on December the 6th.

Four of the nine numbers I bought that day were as follows; 075829, 075830, 075832 075833.

You may have noticed that 075831 is missing from that set. Well as luck would have it, it appears in the PDF file on The PA Lotteries website in the $100 winner category. So somebody somewhere won a hundred bucks with it.

This would seem to be the fault of the main Lottery computer not stopping ticket sales at 8pm ... it probably is and has been programmed to shut off sales at 500,000 ... but under that number ???

Maybe it was human error ... if someone was to do this manually at 8pm ... shutting the game off.

However, you are correct about the hassle of a person getting their $20 returned. Why can't the tickets be taken to a human lottery terminal and get their $20 back over the counter . Now they have to... [ More ]

I've noticed more glitches lately when buying tickets. Some of the issues could be limited to self-service terminals, but I'm not so sure.

PA Lottery has held numerous raffles in the past without such issues, so what changed this time?... Makes one wonder what other glitches are lurking inside PA Lottery computer systems, in particular, RNG used to choose numbers. Are they really random? Not rigged? yes , the site released the. numbers after 1 am. I am plum pleased when its not sell out. Players still win, and the odds increase! How is that unfavorable? I lost yet I cannot complain, its a game of chance. And having a chance is still a good thing. Looking forward to read the winners stories

There was a problem with the Raffle drawing ...

The Lottery also announced that the holders of 348 Millionaire Raffle tickets sold after 8 p.m. on January 2 as the result of a sales system error will be eligible for a refund of the $20 purchase price. Under the game rules, only tickets sold before 8 p.m. may be considered for the drawing.

Amazing increase on sell-through lately considering how lousy sales were even just a few weeks ago. Based on those numbers, ditto on your thoughts. Will be a near, to possibly, a sell out. My guess is at least 480K will sell by cut-off.

I just got back from PA, and at 12:03 PM and again at 12:10 I bought a total of 8 tickets for the pool I run at work. (I bought 4 in a cigar store, and 4 more at a supermarket next door to the cigar store)

The lowest number in the first set of 4 was in the range of 421450 to 421470.

The second set of 4 (purchased 7 minutes later) was between 421700 to 421720.

In addition, the gaps between ticket numbers was as low as 0 to a maximum of 4.

Not to argue with anyone ... there is NOTHING wrong with the PA Raffle. They have sold 300,000 plus tickets and have all the prizes covered.

I am very happy as a player with low ticket sales ... as long as the Lottery doesn't lose money on the game. I am not one bit sad for the Lottery not having a sell-out .

I don't work for them nor do I wish to ... if they make a few million dollars less on the raffle, so be it.

Why is it so terrible for the lottery player to get a small break every... [ More ]

I got some for the VA raffle. They only sold 300k and they sold out. They also added a separate 1k raffle. Maybe Pa should look at that. It's also better odds.

I heard just under 350,000 as of this afternoon. I'm thinking it wont sell out, and perhaps the 300 million dollar PowerBall jackpot might have something to do with soft sales. G5
