If you live outside of USA. You better buy your ticket early on the lotter. The Lotter would not be able to handle the traffic in Saturday Night Drawing.

Tourists come to the US all the time and create revenue and tax income that they don't profit from. Who doesn't buy a ticket on a vacation for 1$? What about Las Vegas? It runs on foreign money, I rarely hear complaining about foreigners winning in Las Vegas.

Many people commute cross border or go on short business trips, why wouldn't a Canadian buy a ticket on a day trip? Why wouldn't an American buy a Euromillions ticket on a layover in... [ More ]

They can't be allowed to play either right? Want to make sure what you're saying because your only issue seems to be with a foreign national winning, not with them helping the jackpot by buying tickets.

Also, those on student or work visas, are they out of the running as well?

And since a foreign national can get a driver's license in the US, how exactly would that screening process work? Would everyone need to present birth certificates and passports in order to buy a lottery ticket? Wha... [ More ]

Money talks. All scruples go out the window when money is involved in the equation, especially with state officials and politicians. To climb that corporate ladder, they have to squeeze as much money out of every thing that walks upright.

They're also aware that most of those people won't win the JP, so it's a win-win situation. Someone hands them money for a piece of paper that is virtually worthless unless they are THE winner.

They need to make it a rule to NOT allow foreigners to win. Completely ridiculous. Permanent resident/green card...fine, but foreign nationals should NOT be allowed to win jackpots...
