I'm baffled that it is still $1.5 billion.

Anyone with a half a brain would've imagined this jackpot would hit at least $1.6 bill.

After tonight's draw,you watch the violence and domestic assaults fly off the chart.

I'm estimating 1.4-1.5 billion. That's more tickets than were sold for Saturday, but not a lot more.

I imagine some folks dropped some serious cash on the last draw thinking that this was the last of that run.

However, I would think the folks on the sidelines will bet on this one and that may offset things

The last drawing reportedly topped out at $947.9 million, which is an increase of 79.4% over the previous jackpot of $528.5 million. If we get the same increase for this drawing the resulting jackpot would be just a hair over $1.700 billion. That would take sales of nearly 800 million tickets, generating about $1.6 billion in revenue. The chance of another rollover would be about 6.5%, or 1 in 15.

I think, if it keeps rolling, less than devout players will drop out of the game. I think, they will feel it's all a joke. Regular players will play no matter the jackpot amount.
