Yes. The entire point of the draw machine is to be as random as possible.

In related news, any collection of truly random numbers will contain what appear to be short-term patterns. These are useless for predictive purposes.

A few things you can check for powerball:

1. Do you feel repeat numbers are in play?

They don't come up as often in the new matrix that started on 10/7/2015 versus the old matrix.

16 - 19 - 32 - 34 - 57 PB = 13

2. Do a +1-1 and/or a +2-2 analysis on the numbers in the current draw.

-1 analysis: 15 - 18 - 31 - 33 - 56 || -2 analysis: 14 - 17 - 30 - 32 - 55

#'s drawn: 16 - 19 - 32 - 34 - 57 || #'s drawn: 16 - 19 - 32 - 34 - 57

+1 analysis: 17 - 20 - 33 - 35 - 58... [ More ]

There are patterns. Most people refer to them as trends. The trends for PB have been bucked because the matrix change only happened 28 draws ago.

Don't just look at PB, look at any JP Game. They all follow trends. You can even see trends between different games.

The lower the WB count, the greater the chances of seeing repeats, consecutive numbers, etc - but the percentage is always proportional to the number of WBs.

TBH I dont look at frequency that much, or I just look at what was the last few draws. Most numbers don't hit back to back, that can be trusted. Once in a while, a screwball will be thrown in and 1 or 2 will show.
