Assuming that Todd complies, I'll get the special tag after I've proven to him that I've won (I assume he will ask for I.D. and maybe a legal document related to the Trust that made the claim.) Like someone said before, I'd wait for a period of time before doing so and I'd also donate the Gift Tax maximum to Todd because he deserves it for all his hard work here. Who knows, maybe every year I'd give it to him for x number of years.

Maybe. Absolutely not right away. Maybe in 6 months or a year, when things settle down a bit. And I'd be logging in from public wifi in a hotel or restaurant just before I was going to leave, not from my own house. Probably no one will even believe me.

You could tell someone.

But your IP is logged. Someone could do a reverse IP lookup and find your address and you, steal your ticket, and leave you wondering how that happened. By someone I mean Todd haha (joking). Unless you have a VPN...

I don't see why not? The only exception would be if I was in a state where I could remain anonymous I would probably not post that I won here as some stalker could probably find a way to trace my IP address back to me and would blow my cover.

Given the fact that I live in a state where the winner has to go public I wouldn't have a problem posting that I won on LP as everyone in the world would already know my name anyway and it would be cool to let LP members know that someone from this site... [ More ]
