Holy crap man, what liberal hel1hole are you from? You seem to believe everything you are told. Has anyone ever taught you to think critically? Of the last 10 jackpot winners, 5 have been from California, Florida, and Tennessee. What would make anyone in their right mind want to play a jackpot of these odds in a state with literally no jackpot or $1 Million winners in at least the last 7 years? Where is the draw? There will be repercussions with this powerball. We shall see.

BTW, the probability that CA would have one or more winning jackpot tickets in the last drawing are:

1) Completely independent of what state won previously

2) Completely dependent on the number of tickets purchased in California (almost 90 million

California has 15% of powerball ticket sales and there are often more than one winning ticket drawn so I'd say the odds are pretty good that CA has back to back winners from time to time.

A state like Vermont has 1/100th the number of tickets sold compared with CA so you would expect, over a long period of time, that CA would have 100 times as many winners as Vermont. For Vermont to have back to back winners would be extraordinary, CA not at all.

I am completely amazed how quickly cali reported its win! What is the deal with some of these states not reporting results? I'm eager to see how many hit the 1 million tier payout. hope its close to 40 tickets! that would be sweet

Now that its a WRAP, I guess that anything less than 1/2 Billion will not generate much Sales.

If it was a bunch of millionaires good luck to them.How many millionaires contributions helped pump this total up? I'd say quite a lot.

EDIT: L.A. Within a few days,they get an N.F.L. side,AND a billionaire thrown in for good measure.

Our Group plays about $900 per Month on Mega/Power.

We live in Northern CA, but will buy down south when its this high

Its been 4 years, were in it for the long haul I guess

Hmm... I'm seriously wondering how many tickets were bought. I wonder if it was a bunch of millionaires that pooled their money together. I'm not saying it happened but there has been talk about it. I know there was a lottery pool at my work today of $800 total play and those ticket purchases took way shorter than I thought.
