The simplest, most cost effective way to play is to play 2 lines, of 10 different numbers.

Like... 5-9-15-28-34

8-12-21-26-39

If you capture all 5 numbers, 3 are guaranteed to be on one line, 2 on the other. In Texas, getting 2 numbers right pays $2. So, if you capture 3 numbers, 2 are guaranteed to be on on line, 1 on the other. You would win you $2 back. Here in Texas. Not sure if your state pays for 2 numbers.
