When you buy PB or MM do you pay the extra $1 for the multiplier?

I haven't played PB since the billion dollar JP, but if/when I play again, depending upon how much money I have in my wallet at the time I play, I might add the PowerPlay.

I cant remember when was the I last played MM, but if/when I play again, I'll definitely add the Megaplier. I wouldn't want to know what it feels like to win $1,000,000 and then find out I could have won as much as $5 million but didn't because I didn't spend one lousy extra dollar. Never have played it before but considered it for Mega before

PB is too costly as is to consider spending more on game

Mega at $1 a line is more affordable to play compared to Powerball at $2

Mega millions yes I do. Powerball has horrible odds. Once again that sick feeling the jackpot climbs up there. They should the old matrix for powerball and have it back to what it was. Def was better.

I been there, holding onto a set of numbers and also worried when I didn't get a chance (or forgot) to play them.

Also, holding a fanned out set of losing tickets way more than I wish i did.

But, then it wasn't fun. hence the adaptation of my motto, it's more a reminder to myself than advice for anyone else.

Given how rarely I play anymore, I play the multiplier.

My new power/mega system is to play one QP ticket for each $250,000,000 in advertised CASH value, which means I don't play much at all.

Agreed, also the extra money won on the other tiers makes it worth it. Personally I like MM payout better, so only play a little money on PB (if any).

On the MD lottery webpage there is a story of a $50k winner getting the X5 multiplier so winning $250k

Yes, I always do, on both the PB and MM as well as the Lotto Texas w/ their Extra! option for another dollar. Just on last night's MM drawing, some Texas player hit 4 of 5 w/Mega Ball for $5000...but if they had shelled out another buck, they would have won 20 grand.
