I used to think it would be harder to win with computerized drawings but now I'm not so sure because our All or Nothing game in NC is computerized I've won $50 on it 3 times with just picking out the numbers myself...when I did a qp I won nothing.

You are right about that for sure!

I was a receptionist for a very large company one time and I had to screen all of the top executive's calls heaven forbid if someone came in and wanted to see him...there was no way anyone anywhere was going to talk to him unless he told me they could...period

Plus, with computers generating the numbers and lottery ticket sales all connected through a network, I do not have much confidence on just how fair this type of lottery system is.

Just a theory, not sure how much I beleive it, but....

If a perfect lottery is pure random, any imperfection caused by bad programing or human manipulation will introduce non-randomness. If there's non-randomness, someone smart enough to see the pattern will be able to take advantage of that pattern.

You think it's going to be that easy to speak directly to the NC Lottery Executive Director ?? I doubt it !! The closest we'll get on the phone is an office clerk, secretary, or administrative assistant.

Why will it be easier to hit with computer generated drawings ?? If it is easier to hit, why are people always complaining about computer drawings ??? Why have the STATE REPORT CARD in the first place

Does anyone know if North Carolina is switching from ball machines to a computer generated drawing system ??? And if so, why ??? Todd's recent article made mention of the fact that the NC Lottery Commission is installing new computers to run all of its lottery games. Does this statement refer to a computer generated drawing system ???
