But that's the thing. The 'old' 10K a week is still being sold. I asked a store clerk about the difference between the two tickets and he said that the new ticket is 'brighter in color'.

I know that the lottery sells two different sets of tickets (Set for Life) but those tickets have never changed in appearance. These 'brighter' tickets give the impression that they're brand new tickets when (except for some slightly increased odds) they've actually been around for quite a while.... [ More ]

Mostly the same odds as the old 10K a week, slightly better odds for the $200 and $500 payout and worse odds for the jackpot. It may be because there are only 3 jackpot winners instead of 4.

I was going to post this on the other NY thread but I see that it's been closed...

So NY Lottery today released new instant scratch off games. At least I think they're new. The $20.00 ticket seems to be a duplicate of a current game that is still being sold, $10,000 a week for life.

Can anyone please update? I've never known the NY Lottery to sell newer versions of a current ticket but make it seem as if it's a brand new ticket.
