Folks, I will no longer reply to posts or PM's regarding this system. I put it up for your use and enjoyment but now it is taking up to much time of the little time I have.

If you look above I have already explained it.

It is pretty simple. If your starting number is 879 change it to 789 so that it presents as L-H then -1 from the first digit and +1 to the last digit and you will now have 67890.

Using 67890 you will start to make sets like this:

678

679

670

689

680

690

789

780

790

890

Then start to double up on each digit like this:

678 667 668 669 660

679 677 688 699 600

670 778 779 770

689 and so

I don't always post my systems as soon as I create them and often forget how I got there in the first place, as is the case with this system. I think it has something to do with subtracting 1 from the lowest number in the series and adding 1 to the highest number in order to create the numbers for your modified wheel. Series numbers are 012, 123, 234, 345, etc... Any three number combination that does not fall into these parameters are NOT series numbers. Example: 014, 369, etc.

Thanks for the system ranman17! Is it possible to do this system by pencil/paper? If so, is there any chance you could show us the method. Don't get me wrong, I love the excel sheet and will continue to use it. I just like to know how the numbers were created in the first place. I like to know how to work the systems, but enjoy using the excel sheets to save time and effort. Thank you!
