Being from the UK I do find the way US lotteries are run to be rather odd. Case in point the powerball winners that hired a shady attorney and went on tv appeared to receive no support or advice from the lottery company. In the UK Camelot will arrange meetings with reputable lawyers and financial institutions allowing winners to avoid shysters like the aforementioned attorney.

Do we have any updates on the status of this bill.

I honestly don't know how it all works, but what I recall is that it was awaiting signature, with the deadline being April 1st.

Do you think this will WV will be the next state to see things for what they are.....and allow winners to live a normal life after hitting the big one
