To dream of your arms, shows a desire to reach out, the fact that your arms were caught on metal may show our ability to reach out has been hampered, but because you pulled out the rods shows you are trying.

So I dreamed my arm was caught on something, and looked down to see a protrusion from my arm. It was a metal rod, the thickness of a pencil lead. I tugged on it, and felt a pulling, but no pain and so continued to pull it out. It was about 4 to 5 inches long, and I wondered how it got there and how long it's been there. I looked at the other arm, and it had one too. I pulled it out, too.
