The best parts of LP is all the information that can be found with just a simple search or by asking for help.

The fact that people are so willing to help each other out with questions, programs, software etc.

The worst part is when you have the same group of people that continuously hijack every thread no matter what the topic, with their petty disagreements, name calling, insults, etc. All it takes is for one of them to post a comment and then the drama starts, and continues for pages,... [ More ]

The best part of LP is that it exists. It all started with a dream thought up by one person.

I'd have to say the worst part is that some of the members don't truly understand what lottery systems means. They incessantly remind the OP of the system thread and his or her followers, the flaws of the system. These people aren't stupid either, which baffles me even more.

One of the best things I like about LP is the lunar calendar. There used to be a link out of LP to NASA or some other lofty place.

I clicked on the link once but it was dead. A real time lunar calendar with satellite photos is kinda cooll.

Destiny Creation, I love your knowledge of colors and fonts and such but I am surprised you doesn't even know about speednet.

I will probably get banned for this... so I will not say it now.

And at the end of the day, most players are going to play their own numbers anyway, regardless of what anyone else may have posted. I don't put my numbers out there with a recommendation that anybody play them, just posting what I think might hit, no attached innuendo of BIG MONEY, $$$$$, party time or 'guaranteed' hit within next three draws or whatever in an attempt to seek attention or gain followers. Not flashy enough for some folks though.

I totally get your triads. They're very reasonable, based on something that can be articulated in a way that makes sense, usually not more than a line of 5 to 10 and not bouncing off the walls in every possible direction. And you're very judicial in your use or non-use of clapping hands or banging hammers, lol, I've never used them.

How does this constitute a win unless you actually played the winning number ? As someone who frequents comments sections on tech websites (like Ars), I can tell you that there is no difference in intellect. (That's actually fairly insulting what you said - I'm sure you didn't intend it to be.) All too frequently a thread is derailed by posts discussing other topics not directly related to the discussion at hand (ie. thread regarding MI Lottery accepting PayPal is a prime example). I agree, that's really annoying, and every time someone reports an abusive post to me I investigate it.

But it's also pretty shocking that even though I repeat advice about clicking the Report Abuse link until I'm blue in the face, people rarely do it. I guess they would rather sit there reading abusive posts. I can't think of any other reason why someone wouldn't do it.

May I kindly interject that there are some very positive members who are contributing systems that they worked hard to fine tune. They share and guide.

They answer questions with sincere efforts to enlighten or accept methods to improve (fine tune).

The less then pleasant is: duplicity and assumptions without clarification.
