Georgia's a lot closer to me than North Carolina. I play the Georgia lottery when I have extra money to splurge.

Also, a while ago (like years) I read an article in The State newspaper where the president/commissioner...the person who overseas the whole thing stated they did focus groups and all that and came to the conclusion that most people are not willing to spend more than $10 on a lottery ticket and most likely wouldn't offer a lottery ticket higher than that price point. SC residents who live near the NC border should be buying NC scratchers. The typical SC $10 scratcher has a top prize of $250,000 - whereas the typical NC $10 scratcher has a top prize of $1,000,000.

$5 scratchers in NC have top prizes comparable to $10 SC scratchers.

2 VIP Cash Club prizes claim in the past two weeks. They are starting to go fast now.

In other news, I hit $200 on the Gold Rush ticket today (#012). Not to be outdone, my dad hit $200 on the Gold Millions ticket today (#023). Pretty good day for the two of us, lol.

Lol, I see it as the opposite. I look all the prizes won and I see many of them come from the upstate...especially the Spartanburg area. Sometimes I wonder if I should try up north instead of going down south. Had a very good (lucky) night on the scratchers.

Bought 1 $500 Frenzy and hit $100 on it, 1 Mighty Jumbo Bucks and won $15 and 1 Money Puzzle Gold and won $50 with the Gold Bonus symbol. My luck is never that good, lol.

Dang Midlands! We in the upstate can't win anything! Lol. I did see that this a.m., have almost been only the VIP, so few tix left, it's getting to where can't find em in some stores.

The first top prize in the VIP Cash Club ticket was finally redeemed yesterday. Per the lottery website, the ticket was purchased at Lucky 7 (kinda ironic, huh) in Lugoff.

I expect the other 4 to be redeemed rather quickly, probably within the next few weeks.

It really does. Also, the part of the state I'm from, it's becoming more difficult to find these tickets although all the top prizes remain. I'm almost tempted to buy a book with $500 I hit on the Frenzy ticket this past Saturday but knowing my luck the entire pack will probably end up a dud.

3 months in and not one top prize has been claimed on the VIP Cash Club ticket. This has to be the worst ticket ever released by the South Carolina Education Lottery. Lol seriously, where are all the top prizes. Plenty of $2,000 and $10,000 prizes have been claimed but no $250,000 prizes yet? Where have they all disappeared to

How about that last $1 million prize left on the Gold Millions. Million $ prizes never stick around that long on SC lottery tickets.

The VIP ticket reminds me of a $10 ticket sold a year or so by the SCEL that had funky 80s looking font on it. The name alludes me but no top prizes were claimed on that game for a like months, then out of no where all 5 were claimed within 3 weeks. I have a feeling it's going to be the same with this one...
