Pairing system for daily pick2

While looking at the results the other day, i realized something amazing.

Every now and then, the first and last digit of today's pick 3 will show up in tomorrow's pick 2.

I don't have the exact statistic however, it seems to happen roughly 25 % of the time.

What i am looking for, is a good pairing system so i don't have to play 0-9 with the selected digit(s).
