I agree. They should do just one draw and leave it at that. Have protocol in place that is there for the general public to know about in case there is a problem with the live draw. You only need an agency to oversee that the balls have not been tampered with or changed in any way. Who knows? Maybe one of our lines have come up in these practice draws to then just be dismissed for the real one. Leave it all to chance and not mess with any of ours.

I think they're going just a wee bit overboard with the pretests. If they weighed the balls after the last drawing and weigh

them again before the next drawing, and they are exactly the same both times, then I would think they haven't been

messed with. Plus with all the security involved, there would have to be at least two people involved in a fix .

I think the biggest BS of the pretests is in the last 8 words of the high-lited section below. Sounds to me like they are trying

I think that the purpose of the lottery is to raise money as they legally can for education(aka. government projects). The way that the lottery games are set up(IMO) is that less than 10% will be winning tickets while around 2% will have the tickets with the big prize amounts. This is just for the scratch off tickets. The ball drawings are just for show.

Lots of people probably thought live ball drawings couldn't be rigged in 1980 and the reason for all the pre-drawing test today. Just today a clerk was telling me how 4 minute Keno games are rigged because she heard a lottery official say those number were not suppose to be drawn. From there she determined all the results of daily Keno are known before the first drawing of the day.

On number 4 in the slide show it says this:

Though the live drawing lasts 60 seconds, it takes hours to prepare. Lottery officials conduct nine pre-draws, three rehearsal draws, a verification drawing and two post-draws to ensure no statistical parameters have been violated.

In my opinion, the live drawings are just for show. There's no need for video editing as that would make things suspicious. As far as the ball games goes, the computers chooses the winning numbers before the live drawings. Whose to say that they are not doing with the Florida Lottery? Most of the people who have won the Pick-6 games used the computerized Quick Pick option over picking their own numbers based on the history archive of the games winners.

Both those links show computerized drawings. I can't think of how or why the officials would, or COULD, manipulate live draws using balls, unless video editing software was involved. Computer programs can be manipulated, but not live draws, again, unless editing software was in the mix.

Not saying it's not possible, but with the video editing technology that's available to just about anyone these days, how can I be sure this video wasn't tampered with?

I'd be much more convinced If I personally had the time and resources to get the original copy straight from the source without any middle man. But again, I'd have another problem on my hand. How would i know the people who made this video weren't in on the scam

You are right about that. I feel that the Lottery have a central server that collects the number of tickets sold. Once the drawings are closed, the computer does its calculations and provides a number that no one else has picked(if they want to grow the jackpot).
